Student Scholarship Information
The Houston Area Association for Bilingual Education (HAABE) would like to invite graduating high school seniors in your school district to participate in the annual 2023-2024 HAABE Tanya Thompson Student Scholarship Competition. This year, we will be awarding the HAABE Scholarship to numerous exceptional students.
Interested seniors must complete the application at https://forms.gle/vdSC9VK2stXHrEHWA by Monday, March 25, 2024.
No late applications will be considered.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
- Winners will be notified by April 15, 2024.
- HAABE will announce the scholarship winners at this year’s HAABE Bilingual/ESL Teacher of the Year banquet on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at the UH Hilton.
- Each scholarship winner must complete the form and submit a letter of acceptance to an institution of higher education for the fall semester in order to receive the scholarship award.
- Winners must attend the awards banquet.
